How to Distinguish
- Country-code top-level domain is .mk
- The official language is Macedonian (македонски јазик) written in the Cyrillic alphabet
- Only North Macedonia uses the letters Ќ/ќ and Ѓ/ѓ
- License plates often show a slight red shade near the left edge
- Look for slim, rounded bollards with the reflector surrounded by black paint (by plonk it )
- Guardrails are rounded, unlike the angular ones in Serbia or Montenegro
- The Google Car’s antenna is frequently absent from the imagery
Signs you can find
Expect bollards with black-painted surrounds and either angular posts or slim rounded ones . Guardrails are curved, and the Google Car antenna is often missing from the footage.
