Faroe Islands

The Google Car is distinctive, and sometimes visible in reflections.

Yellow-and-red bollards are common.

Rocky terrain is common, and outside the town centres almost no trees grow. Turf-roofed houses (dirt piled on the roof and planted with grass, for insulation) also turn up here and there.

Grazing is common, and you can spot sheep or horses even close to town.

The letter "ð" is used only in the Faroe Islands and Iceland.

Street-name and bus signs mounted on T-shaped brackets are common across Danish territories. If you see a sign like this, the Faroe Islands should be a candidate.
