- Buildings often appear brighter and whiter than in Great Britain
- ⚠️ Warning triangles without a figure inside show up frequently—if a person appears inside the sign, it is likelier the UK

Ireland uses distinctive green bollards. (by Geotips )
Public post boxes are also green. China and Egypt share the colour, but they lack widespread Street View and the scenery differs greatly. Box shapes vary across Ireland.
You will encounter many ⚠️ warning signs. Irish versions often omit the person, whereas the UK frequently shows a figure inside. If you see the figure, consider the UK; without it, Ireland is more likely. (Reference illustration is homemade!)

Road numbers begin with R, N, or M. The UK uses B, A, or M prefixes instead.
Narrow down state/region
- In stony regions you will find dry-stone walls (from Wikipedia 『Dry stone』)—especially across the west near the Burren and along the nearby coast
Narrow down city/town
- On Inishturk and nearby islands you can spot a vivid red lighthouse
- Inishbofin features fort-like ruins that stand out (参考文献 Inishbofin)
- Large oil storage tanks or container terminals suggest checking Dublin
The island’s official tourism site highlights tourism as the main industry. Look for fortress-like structures reminiscent of ruins.
