Sierra Leone

Freetown lies on a peninsula with the Sierra Leone Mountains; houses on slopes are visible even from the city center. Outside the capital, mangrove areas are widespread.

Rice is the staple food, but production is insufficient and imports are needed(References WFP (JP)).
