How to Distinguish
- Street name signs are written in both Albanian and Serbian
- Houses have a blue plate with the street number next to the entrance
- The Albanian flag is often flown alongside the Kosovo flag

The Albanian flag is often flown alongside the Kosovo flag; this is thought to be a legacy of the Kosovo War(References Kosovo War).
As in the EU, license plates have a blue band on the left. If you see Albanian flags but the plates have a blue left band, Kosovo becomes a candidate.
