Montenegro

national flag of Montenegro

How to Distinguish

  • Country-code top-level domain is .me
  • The official language, Montenegrin (Црногорски језик), uses the Cyrillic alphabet
  • License plates have a blue strip on the left and a national crest in the center, creating a subtle red accent
  • Black guardrails are common in mountainous areas and many appear rusty
  • StreetView tiles often contain image cracks (by plonk it )

Signs you can find

Montenegrin plates carry a blue band on the left and a crest in the middle, giving the plate a faint reddish tint. You will still see plain white plates as well.

Expect white, jagged rock faces . Because neighbouring countries share bollard styles, double-check for cracked imagery or a red spot on the plate.
