Azerbaijani is the primary language used.
Known for the Baku oil fields, the country is lined with gas and crude pipelines. As of 2019, more than 90% of exports were resource related (see chart below).

Road surfaces are relatively flat. The barriers resemble those in Kazakhstan, Turkey, or Germany, and it’s unclear which style is most common .
